Poets
What comes to mind?
A girl with long flowing hair sitting in a tree?
Or perhaps a man with a suit-coat and a pipe.
So many stereotypes fill this world
That even us who write poems
Are expected to be a certain kind
Anyone can write
From books to poetry
What makes us poets different
is we have reasons to write
Whether it be school
Or just out of fun
Poetry is natural to us
As is the shining sun.
